Winner selected to host country music concert

One Horse Town winner chosen to host country stars

Penticton lost out on the bid to be the winner of the Coors Banquet One Horse Town, that would have brought a country music concert to the city.

This year’s One Horse Town winner is Moose Jaw, Sask. They will welcome country stars Darius Rucker, Jon Pardi, Jess Moskaluke and the James Barker Band to their city on Sept. 15.

Penticton was selected as a finalist with five other locations that were selected from thousands of nominations by Canadians. The six finalists competed in a round of fan voting to select the winner.
