There will be smashing, crashing and plenty of destruction this Saturday night at the Penticton Speedway.

Penticton Speedway is hosting the fan-favourite Return of Destruction where cars go around the track smashing their way through boats and trailers to give spectators a thrilling night of fun Saturday.

The evening also includes Street Stocks, Hornets, King of the Hill, and the Hit-2-Pass.

The Speedway is expecting a full house for this night.

Spectator gates open at 5 p.m. Races start at 7 p.m.

On July 23, the Speedway is bringing Avion RS1 Superseal Cup sprint car races to Penticton.

The Speedway marked the end of the 50th season at the track in 2019. The grand finale of the 50th birthday bash was the Double Destruction. By the end, only a couple of the cars were still moving, including season points leader Rick Digby.
