The festival begins at 6 p.m. on Friday evening with an opening ceremony, after which there will be a country dance with a live band and caller right on the street. The dance is always a big hit, with people of all ages dancing together. Saturday and Sunday will have music from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on two stages right in town. You’ll hear everything from Celtic bands, sea shanties, gypsy brass bands, ballads, accordions and much more. And it’s all free! You get a weekend of music for nothing.
