Area musicians give benefit for student scholarships

On Friday, April 19 at The Cawston Community Hall the K Mountain Music Invitational Society host three mini-concerts in one evening.

From the South Okanagan and Similkameen, a flute choir named Quicksilver will perform.

Heritage researchers and singing duet, Jon Bartrlett and Rika Ruebesaat from Princeton, will render traditional songs of The Similkameen .

A jazz ensemble of seventeen young musicians from Similkameen Elementary Secondary School directed by Alyssa Haite will offer their latest repertoire.

Tickets are $10.  Students pay $8.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Concert starts at 7:30.
