Valley First celebrates 65 years with food drive

In celebration of Valley First’s 65th Anniversary, we are asking for the community’s help.

In celebration of Valley First’s 65th Anniversary, we are asking for the community’s help in raising 6,500 pounds of food for the food bank by December 31, 2012.

If our Keremeos branch is successful in collecting the highest amount of food amongst Valley First Branches, we will be successful in earning a $6,500 cash donation for our food bank (besides all that food!).

All the food collected here stays in our community.  Community members can help us be successful by dropping off food donations to Valley First – how convenient that we are right across the street from Valu-Plus.

Currently our food bank assists approximately 60 to 80 families per month and without our assistance the food bank would have difficulty meeting the needs of our community.

Thank-you for your help.
