Penticton’s Tim Horton’s donated $30,402.15 to help local kids start their days with a proper meal.

The Smile Cookie campaign funds go towards School District 67’s school breakfast programs.

“We sincerely want to thank the staff at Tim Horton’s and the community for their support. This incredible donation once again illustrates the generosity of our community and will have a tremendous impact in supporting our school breakfast programs,” said superintendent Todd Manuel in a press release.

The owner of Tim Horton’s presented the cheque to the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen on Nov. 6.
