Tim Hortons restaurants in the South Okanagan and Castlegar raised close to $33,000 to help send kids to camp.
The restaurant chain recently held its Camp Day 2019 event, raising a total of $32,991.65 in the region, said Nicole MacMillan of Tim Hortons South Okanagan.
She said the public and volunteers helped to raise the money during the day.
The money was raised through coffee, donations and bracelet sales, along with other fundraising activities.
Campers will leave for their camp experience on June 28.
