Animals in need were front and center at the third annual Township 7 Vineyards and Winery SPCA Sip & Support on Sunday.
Carolyn Hawkins, branch manager of the South Okanagan Similkameen SPCA, said each year they are thrilled to participate at the event, with all the money raised going to the BC SPCA.
“This event is important to raise funds for the unwanted and abused animals in our community,” she added.
The event featured adopatable dogs, food trucks and live entertainment.

In addition to Township 7 Vineyards and Winery hosting the fundraiser, several other businesses supported the event. Some of these included the Pet Pantry, K9 Treat Truck, Monet Meets Merlot and Lucky’s Pet Supply.
On Sept. 8, the annual Paws for a Cause will be taking place in the Okanagan with all the money raised helping animals at the BC SPCA Kelowna and Vernon branches. You can still register online.
