The Similkameen Trail Society will be hosting an active way to enjoy Victoria Day with their upcoming bike ride.

The ride kicks off at 4 p.m. and both society members and non-members are welcome to join in.

The event aims to showcase the work that has been done on the trail.

The Similkameen Trail will connect Keremeos and Cawston once it is completed, providing a safe cycling route off of the highway and through the valley.

The ride will begin at the new trail parking lot at the corner of Newton, Daly and Highway 3.

Those interested are also asked to include how many riders are expected to join to help with preparations.
