The Rotary Club of Penticton Sunrise is accepting donations for their annual book sale fundraiser.

The club is collecting gently used books, games, and puzzles until March 21 for the 14th annual sale.

All donated items are asked to be dropped off in bags, and textbooks and encyclopedias are not accepted.

Donation bins are set up at locations around Pentiction, including at Marketplace IGA, Quality Greens, Nautical Dog Cafe, Real Canadian Superstore, Rona, South Main Seniors Center and Cherry Lane Mall near Save-On Foods. Residents of Summerland can also drop off items at Maple Roch.

The book sale helps fund local projects such as musical instruments for high school students, Student of the Month and Unsung Citizen awards.

For large donations, the club asks that you call Alex at 250-488-9197 to arrange a pick-up.

The sale runs from March 23 to 28 at the Penticton Curling Club, with donated books sold by the pound.
