Photos: Remembrance Day in Penticton

Around 1,000 people attended a ceremony to reflect and pay tribute

Close to a thousand people gathered around the Cenotaph in Penticton’s Memorial Park for Remembrance Day.

Despite the chill air and the wind, and the ongoing pandemic, the crowd seemed undiminished.

Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, veterans, local politicians, the Penticton Indian Band and families of those whose loved ones have served laid down their wreaths.
