For many families, graduating high school is one of the most important times in a person’s life and Amanda Way at Skullery Made Barber Shop is offering to help make that day a little better.

Skullery Made will be donating free hair cuts to Penticton graduates all day on June 29, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

She is being joined by another stylist who will be cutting and styling hair for female grads.

For families looking to get their grads ready for their big day, it’s best to call and book an appointment ahead of time.

“Obviously I’m gonna try my best to squeeze in as many kids as I can,” said Way. “Ideally parents should book ahead. It would be nice if I had at the least 25 minutes to 30 minutes per person so I can do my best work.”

Way is well known in the community for cutting men’s hair and recently opened up her own barber shop at Nanaimo Square, 301 Main Street. Appointments can be made by calling 250-486-1349.
