Another edition of the Penticton District and Community Arts Council’s lake-to-lake art walk is slated for April 2, the group announced on Tuesday (Jan. 25).
The council is calling on all local artists, galleries and groups to register for the annual event.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the lake-to-lake walk will see a number of local artists situated in designated parts across the city, showcasing their work to people participating in the featured event.
Penticton’s art council will include artists and galleries on its art walk map prior to the start of the day, highlighting where particular people will be during the march.
The council is only welcoming submissions from people or groups who operate out of a physical location.
There is no cost to be featured on the art map and people interested are asked to fill out the council’s registration form by Feb. 22.
Penticton’s art council has offered both local artists and the public opportunities to either showcase or be exposed to unique art pieces for the last several years.
More information regarding participation from specific artists is expected to be revealed after the registration deadline.
