Kars under the K Committee are hard at work putting on the final touches to the car show coming up on August 4.
The committee thanks all the major sponsors, including all the small business in town that sponsored the awards and donated spot prizes.
There is an army of volunteers that help with everything. This event couldn’t be done without this help.
For example, the Red Hat Ladies will help with the registration and greeting of participants. There is a group of people that set up the tents, and help park the cars. There are also ladies helping with the T-shirt sales and ballot counting.
The Keremeos Elks will cook the pancake breakfast starting at 8 a.m. Barry Beecroft Fuel Distributor and Sagewood Mobile Home Park are sponsoring the pool for everyone to use. Royal Canadian Legion will have the beer garden at their air conditioned hall. There will be music all day and there will be some new vendors in vendor’s alley.
EZ Rock will be on location.
As in previous years, the proceeds will go to the Keremeos High School Automotive Shop Class and Keremeos Senior Center.
