Family day in Keremeos is looking to be packed full of fun.

From 1 p.m. until 4, there will be plenty of activities going on at the Similkameen Rec Centre in Keremeos, in partnership with the Similkameen Country Chamber of Commerce and RDOS.

There will be bowling and basketball competitions, and plenty of other games, including a table of games hosted by local 2022 grads. The grads will also be raising donations for this year’s prom.

A food truck will be on site, as will the RDOS Play Physical Activity Trailer, and a photo booth.

There will also be crafts available for families to complete.

Indoor activities will require proof of vaccination.

In addition, over the weekend from Feb. 18 to Feb. 21, the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen is holding a Family Day contest.

Families are being challenged to go out into the community and spell the word ‘Family’ in the most creative way they can think, then send in the results to the RDOS to enter for prizes.

Entries can be sent in by emailing them to rdosrec@rdos.bc.ca.
