Three community organizations donated a total of $1,200 during the 2013-14 school year to help local RCMP Officers teach the internationally recognized Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program to 45 Keremeos Grade 5 or 6 school children. Donations were received from the following organizations: Royal Canadian Legion($100), the Elks Club ($500) and the Similkameen Planning Society ($250).
