With the temperatures getting low, a good hot soup can help warm you up, and Discovery House in Penticton will soon be serving it up for lunch every Friday for six weeks.

The addiction recovery program is kicking off its 10th annual Soup is Good Food fundraiser for 2021, with pickup available on Feb. 19 and 26, and March 5, 12, 19 and 26.

Discovery House will also be offering delivery for orders over $30.

A single order of soup is $7, and comes with Cobs’ buns and a McDonald’s coffee. Three orders of soup are $20, five are $30, and 10 soups are available for $50.

Orders for pick-up and delivery are required to be in by Thursday each week. Soup pick-up times are 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

You can also donate your order of soup. Donations will be distributed to those in need in partnership with the South Okanagan Women in Need Society.

Donations of more than $20 will come with a charitable donation tax receipt.
