A pleasant May afternoon in Keremeos

After a long, cold and snowy winter - remember? - Keremeos residents have had a reason to smile lately in May

After a long, cold and snowy winter - remember? - Keremeos residents have had a reason to smile lately as May has brought with it a taste of what (hopefully) is to come, with soaring temperatures this week.

Thursday, May 9 saw temperatures in the high 20s and low 30s in the Lower Similkameen and residents were out in full force enjoying it.

Whether catching some rays downtown, or waiting wistfully for the pool to open (not till June, unfortunately) summer was in the air, and the Similkameen was in tune.

Catching some rays,  empty pool, legion afternoon activity, street traffic, cycling, cool, Keremeos water, rodeo next week, finding some shade, advance polling at Victory Hall, high water near cement plant, afternoon rockslide on K Mountain, village, wall of lilacs, high water in Cawston, street scene
