2012 Storytimes are starting at the ORL

Okanagan Regional Library branches in the South Okanagan and Similkameen are starting their popular children’s programs

 

Chilly winter days are a perfect time for young children to cozy up with book, and Okanagan Regional Library branches in the South Okanagan and Similkameen are starting their popular children’s programs for family entertainment and literacy learning. All programs are free, so enjoy visiting many branches in your area.

The Kaleden Branch at 101 Linden Avenue will hold Storytimes for children aged two to five years beginning on Thursday, March 1. The program will run each Thursday from 10:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. until May 31, excluding Spring Break. No registration is required, and you can reach the Kaleden Branch at 250-497-8066 or check information at www.orl.bc.ca/branches/kaleden.

Preschool Storytimes for children aged two to five years are held in the Okanagan Falls Branch every Friday afternoon from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. This program begins February 3 and runs until April 23; the branch can be reached at 250-497-5886 and is located at #101 – 850 Railway Lane.

 

Families in Keremeos can join their Preschool Storytime program each Friday from 11:15 a.m. – noon until March 30. This program is geared for two to five year-olds.
