Robert Frederick Dawson
November 18, 1946 - August 26, 2017
Robert Dawson died suddenly on Saturday, August 26, 2017.
He is survived by Bonna, his wife of 39 years, his children Cara, Meaghan (Oussama), and Rhiannon (Rory), 4 grandchildren, siblings Lynda (Scott), Karen (John) and Brian (Nelly), and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by son Cameron.
Rob, a former lawyer, was a major figure in the orchard industry for the past 40 years, which included serving as Director or President on the Boards of the Packing Houses, BC Tree Fruits, Sun-Rype Products, Okanagan Valley Fruit Tree Authority, PICO, and BC Investment Agriculture Foundation.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sun. Oct 15/17 @ 2pm at the Keremeos Victory Hall.
A second event will be held in Vancouver in December (date to be determined).
