Leonard Joseph Engh born in

February 09, 1933 (age 84).
With his wife Nia and Teddy
(their miniature poodle)
by his side, Len passed
(peacefully) on Saturday, 29
April 2017 at the Christine
Morrison Hospice in Mission.
Len is survived by his wife Stefania “Nia” Eymundson of
Hedley BC; his son Gary (Susan) Engh of Gold River, BC;
daughter Laurie (John) LeBlanc; son Randy (Diane) Engh;
daughter Valerie Engh; son Martin (Esmarie) Engh; and
daughter Leona (Scott) Engh Malkoske (all of Mission,
BC) as well as two stepsons Nicholas (Sabrina) Morley,
and Edward Morley. Len is also survived by his first wife
Madeleine “Maddie”; thirteen grandchildren and twelve
great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Len is also survived by his siblings: Clara Corley of Salmon
Arm, Jackie Engh (Dennis) of Spokane, WA; Norman Engh;
and Loretta (Con) Rondquist of Mission, BC.
Leonard is also survived by his maternal aunt Josephine
“Aunt Jo” of Abbotsford; as well as countless dear cousins,
nieces, nephews and friends.
Len was a wonderful husband, a precious father and
“grandpa”, a great “big brother”, a loving nephew and
cousin, and good friend. He dearly loved his family; was
fond of his many good friends, and was respected and
loved by all who knew him. He shall be sorely missed but
remembered with a never ending love.
A celebration of life memorial tea is being held in honour
of Len at 1:00pm on Sunday, May 07th at the McConnell
Creek Farmers Institute Hall located at 35483 Hartley Road
in (rural) Mission. A light lunch shall be provided.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations (in
Len’s name) be made to the Mission Hospice Society.
