Roll over on Highway 97 near Summerland

One person was taken to hospital following a single vehicle incident on Highway 97.

Traffic is moving slowly in both directions on Highway 97 near Summerland after a single vehicle roll over in the southbound lanes.

The incident occurred about 3:30 p.m. near Kickininee Provincial Park.

According to those on scene the ambulance took one person to hospital in Kelowna.

The crash was reported as serious and there was concerns air ambulance would have to be called in.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
