An unidentified Vernon man appeared to have been suffering from some short-term memory loss

An unidentified Vernon man appeared to have been suffering from some short-term memory loss.

The man woke up in a ditch Sunday morning not wearing his shorts which contained the keys to his Dodge Ram pickup truck which he said had been stolen.

According to Cpl Don Wrigglesworth the truck was supposed to have been parked at the motel where the man was staying.

“After police were alerted and made patrols and alerted neighbouring detachments of this stolen pickup the same male called back in afternoon and had located the truck parked around the corner,” said Wrigglesworth.
