A new transit plan to connect the communities of the South Okanagan and Similkameen is starting to take shape and feedback is wanted.
The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen and local municipalities will be working together with BC Transit to build the new transit future action plan, to replace the previous plan from 2015.
Feedback can be delivered through open houses being held in the South Okanagan and Similkameen or online.
The sessions will be held on Nov. 24 in Oliver, Osoyoos and Penticton, and on Nov. 25 in Penticton, Okanagan Falls and Summerland.
Due to the recent flooding, feedback from Princeton residents will be limited to online only, which can be provided through engage.bctransit.com/southokanagan2021 until December 14, 2021.
The feedback will help shape the priorities and future projects for transit in the region.
